Teacher Muzza on Being a Grateful Teacher

Teacher Muzza considers herself a blessing to others; in turn, the blessings she receives are always in abundance. A Senior B teacher from Angeles, Pampanga, teacher Muzza is one of the best and established home-based online English teachers in the region. “ I am grateful to be a home-based online English teacher with 51Talk because it gives me the opportunity to pursue my passion for teaching, be financially stable, and build a stronger relationship with my family all at the same time.”

Moreover, her students boosted her social skills through their everyday interactions. She is most thankful that she gets to enjoy her profession and personal life at the same time. The ability to adjust her schedule allows  her to spend more time with her family and friends, and travel to different places.

Teacher Muzza has been teaching with 51Talk since 2015 and for her, the biggest achievement in her tenure is that she gets to have a positive impact on her students’ lives. “As a teacher, I equip my students with the skills they need to competently use the English language, giving them the opportunity to be a step closer to their dreams.” She teaches with so much passion that challenges along the way are easily hurdled. “The cultural and language differences make teaching foreign students a challenge at first, but I do not allow them to hold me back from teaching.”

She ensures that her classes are meaningful and that her students have a fun experience during every lesson. Teacher Muzza makes it a point that she establishes a bond with her students; this allows her to make them comfortable and not worry about making mistakes. “I really appreciate the efforts my students put into learning what I teach them. Seeing them succeed gives me a deep sense of fulfillment as their teacher.”

This is what she is most thankful for. “I feel great satisfaction and a deep sense of fulfillment in helping struggling students significantly improve their English skills.  If I could personally talk to them right now, I would thank them for believing in my skills and ability to teach them the English language. I would also thank them for continuing to attend my lessons.”

As a 51Talk home-based online English teacher, Muzza enjoys  many perks and benefits that have helped her become a better person in many ways. Her advice for new teachers is for them to always do their best in every lesson and not to be discouraged when faced with challenges. “Always remember that being a 51Talk teacher means that you are already a good teacher; you just have to keep being the best you can be.”
