Why I Teach – Teacher Brian Quill

Being a 51Talk home-based online English teacher is Brian Quill’s primary means of livelihood and he is growing to love  it more every day. He loves his interaction with his students and the learning that happens both ways. His students learn the English language in a fun way, and he grows in confidence as a teacher.  “I am able to become a better person by having the chance to interact with different types of people. It is exciting to know that each of them has the potential to learn, just as I have, the fundamentals of the English subject.”

He is thankful that, on top of teaching online, he has more than enough time to look after his ailing father and attend to his needs. “Having the flexibility and fun learning environment that 51Talk provides, I am able to have a great teaching career.”

Why I Teach

Teacher Brian Quill finds inspiration in his young students. He knows that he is a huge part of his students’ future. He teaches with passion and he makes sure that every lesson is meaningful. “By teaching English to my students, I am being part of their journey to develop better communication skills that can help them have a better future.”

He teaches because he gains fulfillment after every lesson. He is awed by how he is  making an impact on his students, especially those from level 0 who are now becoming better and being more confident conversing in the English language. The partnerships he and his students develop are truly meaningful and inspirational for teacher Brian Quill. “I will always provide my services as long as there are students who need teaching and helping.
