Relive the moments during 51Talk’s first-ever virtual live event. Here’s a recap of the excitement during 51TalkFlix: Your Future at Home.
Last September 17, 51Talk successfully celebrated Teachers’ Month with 51TalkFlix: Your Future at Home, a live virtual event especially for 51Talk teachers. In the two-hour live event, over 10 thousand participants across the country tuned in to join online activities, win prizes, watch their favorite artists, and recognize the 51Talk teachers who have shown their passion for and dedication to teaching.
With over 2 million pesos worth of prizes, 51TalkFlix brought fun and excitement to all the attendees at home. Right off the bat, 51TalkFlix gave away three Reach Reward Circle (RRC) points each to lucky teachers who gave referrals to enter the raffle. These RRC points are normally earned from referrals and used to redeem amazing prizes such as gift vouchers, generator sets, a Huawei mobile phone, and a Huawei MateBook D laptop valid until December 31.
Aside from these, 51TalkFlix engaged attendees with fun online activities such as contests for uploading a selfie wearing their creative loungewear or finding the hidden Max during the program. These activities also earned them an entry for the event raffle draw. The raffle prizes included gift certificates, ring lights, and power banks. Meanwhile, the three grand raffle prize winners won a 32-inch TV, a laptop, and a teaching pangkabuhayan package inclusive of a laptop, headset, and a UPS (uninterruptible power supply), respectively.
Teachers also got the chance to join the PHBEE Trivia Quiz by simply answering questions about popular culture through the website. The participants who got all answers correctly got a share of the total prize of 50 thousand pesos.
Attendees also saw the performances for the “Talent to the Max Grand Finals.” The five finalists were teacher Mary Corrs, PHBEE Pampanga All-Stars, teacher Ferd Kenneth, teacher Joe Saul, and the Kanta Pinta Duo. In the end, PHBEE Pampanga All-Stars’ Money Heist-inspired dance performance won them the title of Talent to the Max Ultimate Champion and the grand prize of 20 thousand pesos.
Other much-awaited highlights were the solo stages for two of the country’s hottest artists. 51TalkFlix attendees got to listen to Ebe Dancel sing “Burnout” by Sugarfree and his song entitled “Prom,” and hear Morisette’s rendition of “Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson and the Regine Velasquez hit “Shine.”
Lastly, 51TalkFlix put the spotlight on all the outstanding teachers who serve as role models at 51Talk. Congratulations to the following teachers who won their respective awards:
