Complete registration unlocks your Online interview. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay your progress.

Pass the 51Talk AI Online Interview (5–10 Minutes)

The Online English interview is short, system-guided, and automatically evaluated. Check your microphone before you start.

It checks:

• English communication skills

• Professionalism

• Readiness for online teaching

Required Teaching Setup

• Quiet environment

• Clean and white background (no room for distraction)

• Good lighting

• Laptop or desktop only (i5 10th Gen and higher with 8 GB RAM)

• Headset with microphone with noise cancellation

• High speed internet connection, preferably wired and exclusive (for home-based teachers)

Most unsuccessful attempts are due to technical setup issues—not communication ability. Prepare your equipment properly before starting.

Complete Pre-Service Orientation (PSO)

After passing the online interview:

• Watch the full orientation video

• Complete the quiz

• Review and sign the Service Agreement

This prepares you for training and arms you with online English teaching skills.

Step 2: Tech Check + New Teacher’s Training

AI Tech Check (Home-Based Teachers Only)

If you are signing up as a home-based online English teacher, you must pass the system tech check.

Before running the test:

• Restart your computer

• Close background applications

• Ensure strong and stable internet

Meeting the online teaching equipment requirements allows you to proceed to training.

For Center-Based Teachers

If you are registering as a center-based teacher, equipment is provided at the center. You may be endorsed directly to training after the required steps.

Attend New Teacher’s Training (NTT)

Training covers:

• Online classroom standards

• Teaching flow and structure

• Best practices for English tutoring

To succeed:

• Be punctual

• Participate actively

Step 3: Teaching Demo

• Use a clean, well-lit background
• Maintain a quiet and conducive learning environment

Teaching Performance

• Teach as if handling a real student

Step 4: Onboarding & Launch

• Attending onboarding training
• Submitting complete documents
• Finalizing system requirements

• Your profile is activated
• You officially become a 51Talk Online English Teacher
• You may begin opening slots and conducting lessons
